Lifeguard
Starting salary: $TBD an hour.
Flexible hours (20-40 a week) include evenings and weekends.
Minimum qualifications: At least 16 years old. Must be at least 54 inches tall, able to see and hear possible emergencies, be able to lift 40 pounds to chest height, capable of walking or standing on concrete for up to four hours, must have excellent communication skills and be able to think clearly and respond appropriately in an emergency. Lifeguard license, first aid and CPR certification required before season begins. Certification can be gained through Splash City. Employment can not be provided without certification.
Lifeguards oversee the safety of all guests and enhance their enjoyment of the facilities through constant supervision, consistent rule enforcement, friendly service a helpful attitude, and, when necessary, performing rescues.

Head Lifeguard
Starting salary: $TBD an hour.
Flexible hours (20-40 a week) including evening and weekends.
Minimum qualifications: 18 years or older. At least 54 inches tall, ability to see and hear possible emergencies, be able to lift 40 pounds to chest height, capable of walking or standing on concrete for up to two hours, must have excellent communication skills and be able to think clearly and respond appropriately in an emergency. Lifeguard license, first aid and CPR certification required before opening day.
Members of management ensure efficient operations and excellent customer service through hands-on contact with guests and supervision of staff and park operations. You will interact on a regular basis with CARD staff.

Guest Services
Starting salary: $TBD an hour. (Guest Services Lead starting salary at $TBD per hour)
Flexible hours (15-40 a week) include evenings and weekends.
Minimum qualifications: High school diploma and prior organized and/or administrative experience. Must be at least 18 years old, be bondable, able to see and hear guests and staff, have basic computer knowledge, be able to count money and fill out cash reports. Able to lift 40 pounds to chest height and able to lift and carry up to 20 pounds. Must have excellent communication and organizations skills and be able to think clearly and respond appropriately in an emergency.
Guest Services staff ensure the efficient operation of parties, group reservations and private rentals by serving as host/hostess to guests, organizing programs, processing transactions efficiently, keeping records, answering telephones and disseminating information. Additional duties may include visiting local businesses to promote Splash City.

Cashier
Starting salary: TBD an hour
Flexible hours (15-40 a week) include evenings and weekends.
Minimum qualifications: High school diploma and prior experience. At least 18 years old, be bondable, able to see and hear guests and staff, have computer knowledge and ability, be able to accurately count money and fill out reports. Must have excellent communication skills and be able to think clearly and respond appropriately in an emergency. Cashiers quickly and efficiently process sales, serve as a resource to guests, answer telephones and disseminate information.

Quality Assurance Team
Starting salary: $TBD an hour
Hours will vary as scheduled (20-40 a week)
Minimum qualifications: Must be at least 18 years of age, able to work independently with minimal supervision, capable of lifting 50 pounds to shoulder height, able to bend to the floor and reach/lift overhead. Quality Assurance employees strive to provide the highest levels of user satisfaction. Each member ensures that all areas of the water park are free of hazards, sanitary, safe and inviting.

Learn to Swim (LTS) Instructor

Minimum qualifications: Must be at least 16 years old. At least 54 inches tall, ability to see and hear possible emergencies, be able to lift 40 pounds to chest height, capable of walking or standing on concrete for up to two hours, must have excellent communication skills and be able to think clearly and respond appropriately in an emergency. Education and Experience:
Associates Degree in facility/park management, horticulture, forestry or related field. Prior supervisory experience. Must have or obtain Illinois Pesticide Operators License. Work experience can be substituted for education.

Minimum Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years of age and able to lift 30 pounds to chest height. Must be able to pass a criminal background check with no felony convictions. Must have a valid Illinois driver’s license.
Required Duties: Open and close restrooms according to instructions; Replenish restroom supplies as needed
Ensure pavilions are clean and trash cans are emptied; Ensure pavilion reservation signs are posted; Empty all trash receptacles throughout park, picking up any litter along the way; Prepare scheduled ball fields to correct specifications; Secure all areas before leaving, including maintenance facility, vehicles and equipment;

Cart Barn Attendant
Salary: To be determined -- Flexible hours (15-35 a week) include evenings and weekends
Operating under the supervision of the Golf Course Manager, the Cart Barn Attendant sees that golf cars are fully charged, brought out when needed, cleaned and stored appropriately and assist golfers as needed.
Specific duties: Provide excellent customer service, clean golf carts before and after each use, insure that all carts are in good working condition, tag all carts needing repair, fill on-course water coolers, oversee driving range; including picking up and washing range balls and rotating range tee position.
Preferred qualifications: Able to lift and carry water coolers, balls and other stock weighing up to 40 pounds, excellent communications skills, enthusiastic self-starter who can work independently and as part of a team. Clubhouse Sales Clerk

Operating under the supervision of the Golf Course Manager, the Clubhouse Sales Clerk oversees the sales of merchandise, is able to explain the use of various products, schedules tee time reservations.
Specific duties: Answer telephone to take tee time reservations and answer customer inquires, be knowledgeable as to answer questions about the course and the game of golf, accurately ring-in sales using a computer-based system, accurately count money and complete appropriate daily reports, perform inventory of merchandise as directed, sweep clubhouse throughout the day, adjust clubhouse window shades to maintain comfortable environment
Preferred qualifications: Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 40 pounds, ability to multi-task, excellent communication skills, familiar with computer programs, enthusiastic self-starter who can work independently and as part of a team. Enthusiastic personality and positive personal appearance, demonstrates ability to provide quality, courteous customer service, will perform  duties as assigned.

Clubhouse Bartender

The Clubhouse Bartender conducts over-the-counter retail sales of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and food items as well as handles cash sales, counts cash drawers and conducts periodic inventory and re-stocking, and assists golfers as needed. Must be at least 21 years old to be considered.
Specific duties: Provides excellent customer service, restocks all beverages at the bar as needed, ensures that all alcoholic sales are to age-appropriate customers, monitors customers for signs of intoxication or unruliness, knows correct portioning and mixes of various drink preparations, handles cash accurately and operates a POS cash register accurately, maintains Clubhouse Lounge in an orderly, clean and sanitary condition at all times.
Preferred qualifications: Excellent communication skills and enthusiastic self-starter who can work independently and as part as a team.
